The number one question that I always get from all of my clients, whether they are Certified Home Stagers, Home Stagers in Training, Real Estate Agents or Investors, Small Business Owners, Speakers, Entrepreneurs – you name it, this is their question: How do I market my business?

Many have some idea how to market their business, but they don’t know how to effectively market, in order to get the results they desire, which is the key. Usually, they delegate their marketing to an advertising channel such as the yellow pages, some random online marketing or a flyer or two that has been passed out at a meeting in the hopes that everyone that takes one will call you back keep hoping!

I love the coffee cup above as an extra hot marketing tool. Not only is the Bakery advertising with each cup of coffee, but they are in turn selling advertising to other clients on the mug. Super Smart! And of course the mug makes sense to their customer since they serve all sorts of coffee drinks at the Bakery.

So, if you are marketing your Home Staging Services, then you would send them a message like; Are you ready to sit on that listing for another 6 months? Or, Would you like to make an extra $5,000 this month?

3) Make in Incredible Offer- You can do this in a variety of ways. I think the last thing I would say about marketing is to simply look and see what your competition is doing and do the opposite. They are the ones inclined to post an ad and then not get any calls so they quickly determine the ad does not work. Hmmm, maybe they did not place an ad in a location that their customers see, or the ad just was not compelling.

The best example I can give for this is when I started my own Home Staging company, I looked around at all the other Home Stager Certification Program out there talking about making houses pretty and it dawned on me that there marketing was all about them instead of the results they could achieve for their potential clients. That is when I came out with our tag line of “Anybody can make your house pretty, we make it SELL.” Obviously, that did the trick.

Facing criminal charges is a dreadful experience. It assumes even

crime in the first place.

Within the category of affirmative
defense, entrapment is a common tactic in use. Florida court accepts
both subjective and objective forms of this defense. The basic concept
is simple – you would not have committed the crime if the government
entity did not encourage you to do so.

As per the Florida Statute 777.201(1), there are three points to establish this defense.

Step
1: The defendant’s, i.e. your, Miami criminal attorney presents
evidence that a government entity presented an inducement to commit the
crime you face charges of committing.

Step 2: The defendant’s
attorney presents evidence that you did not have the predisposition to
commit the crime, i.e. in case of the government entity’s absence of

removing it, the court may dismiss the case and declare a ‘not guilty’
verdict. However, this is not as easy as it seems.

Only a
competent criminal attorney is capable of investigating the matter,
accumulate evidence, analyze the facts, and present the defense in a
proper manner. It also takes legal expertise to determine when to submit
this defense – at a pre-trial motion or during the trial proceedings.

There
are other possible defenses as well. However, only a legal practitioner
specializing in criminal laws would be able to tell you which one would

Building a Secret Compartment

The plastic wrap has to be used to protect the back cover, many front pages and the front cover from glue spills. There should not be any trace of glue left on the book as it can give a hint that it has been tampered.

Step Two: When everything is in place, the glue mixture can be used for making remaining pages of the book to stick with each other. Paintbrush has to be used for applying generous amount of glue on top, bottom and side areas of each page. The glue should be kept in line about half inch back from the edge being invisible from an informal look. The book should be kept closed after applying the glue and a heavy object can be placed on it for keeping the pages intact, it has to be given several hours to dry completely.

Step Three: When the glue has dried, the protective plastic covering can be removed from both sides of the book. The desired length, width and depth of the secret compartment can be measured. A pencil and ruler can be used to draw the outline of the hollow inside the book. It has to be again made sure to remain well back from the edges so the book will be as strong as possible. Now the inner block of the pages can be taken out using the craft knife. The cut pages can be taken out one by one, the edges can be trimmed. It should be returned to the dust jacket for making it look as normal as possible and it can now be placed on the book shelf.
